Yongsan- Asia's Second Biggest Electronics Market

Yongsan Electronics market is one of my favorite places in korea and i have visited this place more times than any other place in korea.yongsan is the located north of the han river and in central seoul region, One can reach yongsan electronics market very easily from suwon through the seoul subway line no. 1 , its almost 40 mins from suwon and if u take the fast train u can reach by 25 mins.

Yongsan market has around 15 buildings and more than 5000 electronic shop. And this is the place where u can find all electronic goods such as small cabels connectors, laptops, home appliances, computers and its peripherals, stereos, gaming equipments,CDs and DVDs,telephones, lighting euipments , cameras and handy cams, MP3,PMP players , Automobile stereos and GPS gadgets and more and more .

All the korean electronic products and other imported products are coparitively cheaper and you will the get the new released and latest products at yongsan.
Yongsan Electronics Mall Complex is largely divided into I’PARK MALL(space 9), Seonin Mall, Najin Mall, Terminal Mall .

Space 9 is a newly constructed terminal with 9 floors and its quiet big.Its right opposite to the subway station. Other malls are outside the subway station and these are the old ones, you can reach these malls by the skyway from the subway station.
In the space 9 u will get all the things which u will be looking for and the choices will be more for u here where as in other malls u have to search a bit. Prices are comparatively cheaper in the malls which are present outside of the subway station.

Space 9 complex has lots of other shops also like furnitures, Musical instruments and clothings and it also has a CGV IMAX multiplex theatre .
Watching a movie in IMAX screen is a good experience. IMAX screen is so huge and u can feel the difference of watching movie in this kind of big screen and with very good sound quality.we had been to 300 and spiderman 3 here .

Aiins World ( Miniature park of world famous monuments.

Aiins World is a theme park where u can find almost 70 miniature recreations of world famous monuments and buildings .
The miniature was crafted very neatly,i think they even considered the very smalll details of the orginal one for creating these exact miniatures .

Its very easy to reach this theme park by metro.(Line 1 songnae station exit 2 and 5 mins drive in a taxi).
My self ,hemanth, deepak, achar and naga left our guest house round 2:00 PM and we all reached the place by 3:30 we were all hungry so decided to eat something there and we had bibimpap (korean rice with sprouts and red sauce).

After energizing we went to see the miniatures ,those were really good to see , Aiins world was divided into four zones based on the region of the miniatures.
All most all the world famous monuments were there on display , its like a world tour in a single day ;)

Delicious Korean Uthapam -Bindaetteok (Bindatha)

Korean Bindatha (Bindaetteok) is very simmilar to the south indian uthapam and its one of the delicious food which i tasted in korea.

Its a pancake made of ground mung beans, with green onions, kimchi, or peppers cooked on frying pans.

Fermented kimchi or sea food is mixed into a flour-based batter, and then fried in an oiled pan. This dish tastes best when it is hot dipped in soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper powder.

Myself went with deepak (Popoiii) and santanu in search of bindatha this weekend and finallly our popoiii found the place where these are served. The restaurant had a good ambience and unique decorations with the flags of different nations .

The korean who was cooking there was knowing a bit english which helped us a lot to explain him wat we were looking for thn finally we ordered one seafood bindatha and one Yacche(vegitarian) Bindatha and a big fish for Popoiiii and santanu (offcourse popoiiii ate most of the fish ;)).

It was really delicious with the vinegar sauce and red pepper powder. We had a nice korean feast that night for dinner :)
